Life + Cosplay Plans
So, I haven’t had tons of time to deal with life for the past little while, things have just been to busy, and stressful and generally exhausting. I was in a bit of a downward spiral since the start of March and I went through a pretty rough patch. But I think I’ve been doing a bit better, I’m usually only seriously depressed for two weeks at a time and as I slipped out of my melancholy I was able to start to create again and really throw myself into my work; which was a very good thing indeed. I’m still not completely back to my usual self, there are a lot of mood triggers: smells, sounds, memories…
Anyways, enough of that…I’m My animation is done, Mamamouche is done, all but one of my exams are done, just Dangerous Liaisons left to do… I have a lot of plans for what I’m going to be doing in the near future. One of which is quite exciting!
Ottawa Comic Con / The Avengers Midnight Showing
So, for the midnight showing of the Avengers, my bestie, Maya and I are going to be dressing up as Fem!Loki and Fem!Thor. Which should be pretty fun. I don’t usually do genderbent costumes, but I just can’t resist prancing around in a Loki corset + if I were to do the male version of the character then I would need a lot more money and time to do it properly.

I’m pretty excited to make these, first I love corsets, and second they just look like fun costumes to create.
For Day One of Ottawa Comic Con, I’m being Inara from Firefly, specifically her Jaynestown dress which looks like this:
